INSIGHT

Merlo has always shared a historic partnership with the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, based on common values: power, precision and control. We decided to start right here, from an authentic link with the world of speed, to build an experience that would vibrate the same spirit of innovation and passion that guides every Merlo vehicle.

Challenge.

The challenge was clear: to create a convention that was not “just an event”, but a journey into the Merlo identity. A top secret project, with attention to the smallest detail, in which every moment had to surprise, involve and generate pride in belonging to the network of Italian dealers.

Proposition.

This is how Merlo Pole Position was born: two top secret days at the Monza National Racetrack, where every detail, from the welcome to the last corner on the track, has been designed to merge the Merlo world with the adrenaline of motorsport.

An experiential story built on surprise, exclusivity and participation, culminating in the intervention of Carlo Vanzini, the official voice of Formula 1, as special guest.

IDEATION

From the brand to the track

We built the concept starting from Merlo DNA: technology, performance and precision. Hence the idea of bringing these values to life in a context that would represent them in a real and tangible way: the track.

We designed a format that alternates institutional moments, engagement and entertainment, maintaining the surprise effect until the last moment.

Each phase of the project has been designed to fuel curiosity and accompany the participants in a growing of emotions, until the final reveal.

From the visual identity to the installations, from the scenography to the management of the guests, every detail has been orchestrated to create a coherent and high-impact event.

PRODUCTION

On stage at the Monza Racetrack

We followed the production from start to finish, taking care of each phase with millimeter precision.

- Day 1 opened with the corporate meeting in the Sala Torrione, where we screened the institutional video and introduced Carlo Vanzini for an impressive opening. The atmosphere was then transformed into the area of the Former Museum, where an aperitif, dinner and DJ set created a convivial and refined environment, in perfect harmony with the Merlo spirit.

- Day 2 it was pure action: a Driving Experience, team challenge, pit stops and guided tours. We managed the direction of the entire day, coordinating flows, times, contents and photo-video coverage so as not to miss a single moment of adrenaline. From the track to the podium, everything has been designed to make dealers experience the thrill of being part of a winning team.

DIFFUSION

From the track to the community

After the checkered flag, the project continued to run.

We have transformed the experience into a visual and narrative story to be shared within the Merlo network, building a library of corporate and social content that will continue to enhance the brand over time.

Merlo Pole Position has become a concrete example of how an event can merge strategy, experience and communication into a single, powerful brand story.
