Simpl. the reactive agency takes the field to tell the reality of the A.S.D. Amico Sport association and the people who are part of it: volunteers, athletes and families. The goal is to give visibility to a project that promotes inclusion, solidarity and sport as tools to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

INSIGHT

The A.S.D. Amico Sport association was founded with the intention of using sports as a lever to improve the lives of people with disabilities. On the occasion of the inauguration of a new wing of the headquarters and the finals of the basketball tournament, numerous members of the association gathered: families, athletes, volunteers and representatives for two days of celebration and sharing, in full Amico Sport spirit.

Challenge.

Founded in 1994 in the Cuneo area, the A.S.D. Amico Sport association has as its mission to promote recreational, recreational and sports activities dedicated to people with disabilities. From the beginning, the goal was to improve the quality of their lives, making them participatory and active in society, encouraging moments of encounter, exchange and collaboration between families united by similar experiences.

Simpl. the reactive agency chose to take the opportunity of the two days to carry out a series of interviews, giving direct voice to the protagonists of the project.

Proposition.

We followed the basketball team during the trip to Biella, on the occasion of the tournament finals, documenting everything that happened on and off the court to capture the most exciting moments. We also interviewed volunteers, athletes and representatives of the association, collecting their testimonies on what it really means to be part of Amico Sport.

We give people a voice

Simpl. the reactive agency has accepted the challenge of telling what Amico Sport really is and who are the people who are part of it, with the aim of giving greater visibility to a precious project, but still little known in the Cuneo area in which it operates.
For this reason, the idea was born to create an emotional video that comes to life directly from the words and testimonies of the children who experience the association every day. An authentic story, designed to convey an important message: to involve new volunteers, but above all to reach other families who live in similar situations, showing them that there is a place where they can face difficulties together, through sport and inclusion.
The creative objective is therefore to intertwine the testimonies of the protagonists with some significant moments of the activities carried out by the children, to build a strong, human and engaging message.

An immersive experience between competition and party.

The production was divided into two separate days:

Basketball finals in Biella:
We followed the boys throughout the day of the finals, accompanying them from arriving at the hotel to entering the locker room, and then documenting the two games played on the field. For the interviews, we set up a set with a view of the basketball court, where the games continued to take place, so as to always maintain a strong visual and narrative link with the sporting context.

Inauguration of a new wing at the headquarters of Amico Sport:
We were also present during the event organized to celebrate the completion of the works to expand the headquarters. A special occasion that saw the participation of institutional figures of the association, such as the president, and representatives of public life in the Cuneo area. We took the opportunity to collect new testimonies through a series of interviews. The festive atmosphere also involved families, athletes and volunteers, offering precious moments of conviviality to document and share.

An emotional documentary

All the material collected has been edited in an emotional documentary video, designed to be distributed on YouTube and on the association's official website.
To further amplify the reach of the message, the most touching moments and the most significant quotes will be extracted from the interviews, transforming them into a series of Reels for the Amico Sport Instagram page.
