When Caffè Vergnano, the historic Italian roaster and official coffee of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, asked us to accompany its digital presence to the Games, the challenge was clear: to transform an institutional partnership into a living story, capable of speaking to the public every day.

INSIGHT

The 20 seconds of a perfect espresso encapsulate the history, experience and culture of Caffè Vergnano. The same seconds that, in Olympic sport, can decide a victory contain years of training and determination. It is in the time before the gesture that perfection is born.

Challenge.

Transforming the presence of Caffè Vergnano as the official café of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games into a contemporary and engaging narrative on social media. A story capable of combining corporate heritage, coffee culture and sports imagination, while maintaining consistency with the brand's positioning.

Proposition.

We have built an editorial ecosystem based on the creative concept The Art of Timing, divided into a series of social columns designed to tell the Vergnano world through different languages: visual storytelling, immersive content, creative activations and moments of real time marketing.

A continuous story that accompanies the public towards the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, transforming the daily coffee ritual into a symbol of precision, expectation and performance.

IDEATION

The Art of Timing

To build a coherent and distinctive story, we have developed an editorial plan capable of living on the brand's main social channels, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, accompanying communication from November 2025 until the end of the Olympic Games.

Following in the footsteps of Caffè Vergnano’s creative journey, encapsulated in the slogan “You Cannot Rush Perfection”, we have developed the strategic concept “The art of timing”, which draws a parallel between two acts of precision: the perfect extraction of an espresso and the decisive moment in a sporting performance.

From this Insight We Have Developed different narrative rubrics, each designed to explore the Vergnano world from a different point of view:

• Augmented Emotions: immersive micro narratives that merge coffee ritual and sports adrenaline through AI generation, advanced compositing and sound design.

The Art of a Moment: a visual story that intertwines images of the Vergnano roaster and headquarters with scenes of athletes in action, highlighting the shared values of concentration, preparation and precision.

Captured in Time: visual loops dedicated to the Olympic product line, designed to transform the product into a narrative element capable of connecting everyday life and sports entertainment.

The Time That Made Us: an employer branding project involving over 50 company employees, linking their childhood memories of winter to the current Olympic Games

Performance in a Cup: real-time marketing content that intercepts the most significant moments of sports competitions, transforming them into coffee consumption rituals.

The narrative has also been extended to Paralympic Games, maintaining the same creative approach and valuing the themes of inclusiveness, determination and respect for time.

PRODUCTION

What is your moment worth gold?

The project required the production of a large ecosystem of digital content designed to dialogue with the languages and dynamics of social platforms.

The creative and production team worked on different levels of content: Visual Compositing, AI generated visuals, photographic storytelling and motion content designed to maximize the visual impact in social feeds.

The variety of formats and languages has made it possible to keep the narrative always fresh and recognizable, transforming each content into a new chapter of Caffè Vergnano's Olympic story.

The communication campaign was launched by Caffè Vergnano, which organised an urban guerrilla campaign in collaboration with content creator Greg Goya, a well-known Italian street artist.
The campaign engaged passers-by with a simple yet powerful question: “What is your moment that’s worth its weight in gold?”
Building on this initiative, we developed a narrative thread that amplified the message, gathering participants’ stories and interviews to generate spontaneous and memorable content.

9,2 Million Views


The contents have been distributed on Social channels Meta And LinkedIn by Caffè Vergnano through a continuous editorial plan designed to accompany the public Throughout the course of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The strategy alternated editorial content, visual storytelling, creative activations and moments of real time marketing related to sports competitions.

The result was a coherent and participatory story that transformed an institutional partnership into a dynamic and engaging digital presence.

From the first published content to the conclusion of the Olympic Games, the contents recorded:

• + 9.2 million views on Meta channels

• +9K new followers acquired

Numbers that demonstrate how a strategic and coherent narrative can transform the story of a brand into an experience capable of involving the public over time.
